02 / AURA // PACIFIC

A CULTURE
OF WATER.

The Pacific story lives in the boatyard, at the dock, along the beach and around the table. Fast boats are part of it. So are the people and everyday traditions that make each coast its own.

THE CRAFT

Built beside the water.

Offshore hulls, fishing boats, harbour craft, surfboards and paddling traditions. Meet the builders, mechanics, designers and local specialists behind the way each coast moves.

THE SHORE

Life after the dock.

Harbour food, waterfront markets, music, art, coastal roads and the places crews gather. Singapore, Japan, China, Australia and the North American coast each deserve their own texture and voice.

THE PEOPLE

Local voices. Wide horizons.

Photographers, boat owners, fishers, paddlers, surfers, young makers and waterfront communities. The people who know a place should help tell its story.

THE OUTLOOK

Cold water to blue water.

Alaskan harbours, the BC coast, Hawaiian ocean life, Asian waterfronts and the southern Pacific. A shared love of the water gives the page its thread; the differences give it life.

03 / PACIFIC RIM OFFSHORE

A PACIFIC
AMBITION.

An international offshore racing vision, built coast by coast.

PRO is developing the idea of a Pacific Rim Offshore Championship connected to the communities around the ocean. Vancouver Island is the proposed starting point for a wider Pacific programme of racing, marine craft and coastal participation.

Singapore and the Asian coast, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, Hawaiʻi, Alaska, BC and the coast to San Diego belong in that long view.

04 / PEOPLE MAKE THE PACIFIC

LOCAL PEOPLE.
OUT ON
THE WATER.

Part of the PRO vision is to bring the surrounding community into the experience: time on the water, a closer look at the boats, and real contact with the people who build and run them.

A place for locals.

We want to develop community viewing boats, hosted experiences and sponsored local seats with suitable operators. Each opportunity will need its own confirmed arrangements.

A way into the craft.

Connect curiosity with boatbuilding, engines, electronics, photography and practical marine skills through HUNTER Boatworks and ROOTED’s learning pathways.

A coast that speaks for itself.

Invite local contributors and communities to shape the stories, places and activities associated with their home waters.

A reason to come together.

Make room for boats, food, music, workshops and people of different ages around a future event programme.

05 / BOATS & THE WORK BEHIND THEM

THE BOAT.
THE CREW.
THE PREPARATION.

Offshore performance remains a whole-boat conversation: hull, propulsion, setup, crew and the water. Bring the vessel and the question. Build the project around the details.
