A different pace

Wild places.
Considered details.

The Pacific out front.
Everything that matters, close at hand.

HUNTER Outfitting brings together fishing culture, coastal expeditions, working gear and the people who know why this coast gets under your skin. Our starting point is Vancouver Island: tidal passages, quiet inlets, long horizons and forest all the way to the water.

We’re building a home for expedition planning, field stories, equipment and community—with the warmth and attention to detail of a remarkable West Coast lodge.

The current chapter: the programme is in development. The lodge imagery expresses our design vision. Facilities, operators, vessels, dates and services are confirmed individually before any arrangements.

The lodge feeling

Cedar. Stone.
Salt air.

Long days outside. A deep chair beside the fire. Timber you can feel, a view you could watch for hours, and room to let the day settle.

That is the atmosphere behind the HUNTER world: substantial, comfortable, and unmistakably West Coast.

The coast is the luxury.

03 / The spirit

Go farther. Come back.

Curiosity out on the water. Warmth and good stories at the end of the day.

Beyond the breakwater

The Pacific,
on your terms.

Three ways into the HUNTER world. Bring the idea; we’ll work through the people, season, equipment and arrangements.

Go out.
Pay attention.

A vessel coming back to life. A weather window opening. The person who keeps a harbour running. The detail in a piece of equipment that makes all the difference.

From the idea to the water

Every detail
has its place.

You do not need a finished itinerary. A good conversation starts with what you have in mind.

01 / The idea

Tell us what matters.

People, purpose, activity, dates, experience and the coast you want to explore.

02 / The details

Make space for the practical.

Equipment, access needs, transport, weather windows and operator requirements.

03 / The proposal

Know what is included.

Suitable crew and vessel where relevant, availability, pricing, insurance and terms are verified directly.

04 / The arrangements

Confirm, then commit.

Arrangements follow a clear proposal. An email enquiry does not make a reservation or require a deposit.

A few useful details

Before you go.

Can I book a stay, fishing charter or expedition?

HUNTER Outfitting is a developing programme and this website accepts enquiries. The lodge is a design vision; no operating HUNTER lodge or bookable stay is being advertised. Qualified operators, suitable vessels, services, insurance, areas, dates and terms must be confirmed before any trip arrangement.

Is the HUNTER fleet operating these trips?

HUNTER Boatworks projects and future fleet plans are separate from verified commercial trip availability. Explore the work and send a brief; a vessel or fleet is not represented here as an active booking asset.

Can I buy the equipment shown here?

The images introduce supplier catalogue selections and HUNTER product concepts. Use the equipment links to explore the developing range or make an enquiry. Stock, CAD pricing and fulfilment must be confirmed; this page does not offer online checkout.

How can I join HUNTER Crew?

Send an introduction with your region, interests and skills. The crew programme is in development; no paid membership, guaranteed events or exclusive access is being sold.

Are these images from HUNTER trips and properties?

The two lodge images are original AI-generated architectural concepts. The coast, forest, marina, floatplane and fishing photographs are credited location or activity imagery. They do not document HUNTER trips, owned facilities, fleet access or operator partnerships.
