VERIFY FIRST. DON’T INVENT IT.
Current SD72 sources verify Surge Narrows as an active remote school on Read Island, but no authoritative current source reviewed by ROOTED verifies a school-wide mascot/team nickname or official colours. No replacement identity is being invented.
If the school/community wants identity work later, ROOTED can support a school- and community-led process. Until then this profile stays deliberately neutral.
ASK ROOTED ABOUT THIS SCHOOLSchool facts on this page are drawn from the current Government of B.C. K–12 registry. Branding suggestions are ROOTED concepts only unless explicitly marked verified.

Mascot/team identity remains unverified. This ROOTED concept uses place, initials and current school context without presenting an invented mascot as official.
