What stands out
Quadra Elementary is an island school with a deep parent, First Nations, artisan and local-business community around it. Official school material highlights a community garden, peace garden, musical programs, preschool connections and painted murals.
The school also hosts a StrongStart centre, linking early childhood and elementary learning in one small community hub.
ROOTED read
Quadra already has the ingredients ROOTED wants to amplify: local knowledge, creative people, land-based opportunity and a tight community. The useful work is access, equipment, transport and connections—not importing a generic school identity.
ROOTED SCHOOL IDENTITY SUPPORT
LET THE ISLAND IDENTITY LEAD.
ROOTED has not found a current official mascot/team or published colour standard in the official sources reviewed. Quadra already has meaningful local identity through its island community, gardens, music, murals, First Nations relationships and local artisans.
ROOTED can support school-approved island/outdoor graphics and spirit wear after current marks, colours, cultural guidance and permissions are confirmed.
