What stands out
Pinecrest is home to one of SD72’s StrongStart Centres, supporting preschool-aged children and caregivers before kindergarten. The school’s stated focus is participation, lifelong learning and respect for self, others and the world.
Current school planning also emphasizes a safe, respectful, empathetic and positive learning community, while the PAC remains active in supporting school programming.
ROOTED read
Pinecrest’s strength is the early-learning-to-elementary continuum and community culture. ROOTED’s useful role here is simple: practical activity access, family-friendly entry points, shared equipment and local pathways that do not add unnecessary complexity for staff.
ROOTED SCHOOL IDENTITY SUPPORT
COMMUNITY IDENTITY BEFORE A NEW MASCOT.
ROOTED has not found a current official mascot/team or published colour standard in the current official sources reviewed. Pinecrest has a strong community and early-learning identity already; any visual system should begin with the school and PAC.
ROOTED can support school-approved spirit graphics and merch-ready files after existing identity, colours and permissions are confirmed.
