Each ROOTED sport page is built around access, safety, shared equipment, practical skill and a pathway forward—not just participation.
ROOTED Rowing connects schools to the existing rowing ecosystem rather than duplicating it. Youth can learn stroke basics, boat handling, crew timing and safety, then move into local clubs and established development pathways.
Shells, oars/sculls, riggers, seats, shoes, trestles, slings, cox boxes, megaphones, ergs, covers, trailers, boat racks and timing/video tools.
Club rowing, coaching, coxing, para rowing, equipment/boathouse operations, regatta support and university/performance pathways.

Evidence-backed relationship state: Rowing British Columbia has provided direct strategic guidance, and Concept2 has responded to ROOTED directly. Rowing Canada Aviron has historical scheduling evidence only; no current commitment is inferred. Regatta Sport and NK Sports have been contacted without a human reply evidenced. Nanaimo Rowing Club, Croker Oars West, WinTech Racing, Fluidesign and other Island clubs remain research/reference routes unless stronger direct evidence is recorded. No partnership, sponsorship or delivery commitment is implied.
Equipment brands, operators, associations, coaches, technicians and local experts can all contribute to an activity page.
