Each ROOTED sport page is built around access, safety, shared equipment, practical skill and a pathway forward—not just participation.
ROOTED Kayaking moves from basic strokes and wet exits into rescue skills, edging, bracing, navigation and coastal judgment where appropriate.
The pathway can scale from calm-water recreational boats into sea kayaking with qualified instructors and suitable conditions.
Kayaks, paddles, PFDs, sprayskirts where appropriate, paddle floats, pumps, sponges, tow systems, dry bags, carts, repair kits, trailers/racks and cold-water gear.
Instruction, guiding, coastal recreation, rescue training, equipment service, marine tourism and trip leadership.

Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of BC, Swift Canoe & Kayak, Eddyline, Boreal Design, Stohlquist Canada and Suspenz remain research/reference routes because no direct relationship evidence is recorded. No partnership, sponsorship or delivery commitment is implied.
