Each ROOTED sport page is built around access, safety, shared equipment, practical skill and a pathway forward—not just participation.
ROOTED Fishing & Angling pairs the activity with stewardship. Young people can learn casting, knots, tackle, safe fish handling and species awareness while understanding habitat, fisheries and conservation.
Rods, reels, line, tackle, nets, pliers, dehookers, eye protection, tackle storage, waders where appropriate and safe shore/boat access.
Recreation, guiding, fisheries education, hatchery and habitat work, conservation, fly tying, retail/service and marine careers.

Evidence-backed relationship state: B.C. Wildlife Federation and Rajeff Sports / ECHO have been contacted without a human reply evidenced. Hareline has outbound ROOTED follow-up history, but no inbound Hareline message was located in the inspected mailbox. Pacific Salmon Foundation is launch/reference context only. Nautilus Reels, Airflo, Fulling Mill, Maxima, Umpqua, Orvis, Temple Fork Outfitters, Gamakatsu and other tackle suppliers remain research/reference routes; DFO Salmonid Enhancement is an official education/reference lane. No partnership, sponsorship or delivery commitment is implied.
