Each ROOTED sport page is built around access, safety, shared equipment, practical skill and a pathway forward—not just participation.
ROOTED Boating & Seamanship focuses on competence rather than joyrides: launching, docking, lines and fenders, navigation basics, PCOC knowledge, engine awareness, flotation, cold-water judgment and emergency readiness.
Suitable small craft, outboards, PFDs, lines, fenders, anchors, boat hooks, bilge systems, batteries, lights, VHF/chartplotter tools, trailers and maintenance kits.
Boating certification, marina operations, marine mechanics, rescue services, guiding, fisheries, vessel operations and marine trades.

Current relationship evidence: CanBoat / NautiSavoir offered ROOTED a discovery call; delivery terms remain unverified. Sea Tow Foundation provided human guidance and offered to reconnect.
Official/outreach/reference lanes: Transport Canada Office of Boating Safety is a regulator and reference authority, not a ROOTED relationship. Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue, Canadian Safe Boating Council, Yamaha Motor Canada and Suzuki Marine have outreach with no reply evidenced; KingFisher Boats was contacted with no reply evidenced. Electronics suppliers, trailer suppliers and Island marinas remain research/reference lanes. Inclusion here does not imply partnership, endorsement, funding or delivery.
