Each ROOTED sport page is built around access, safety, shared equipment, practical skill and a pathway forward—not just participation.
ROOTED Alpine Skiing is the on-snow foundation: turning, stopping, edging, lift use, mountain code and enough repeat days for confidence to stick.
The model pairs school access with rental or shared fleets, qualified instruction, local ski areas and equipment/service systems that can keep gear safe and useful for years.
Skis, boots, bindings, poles, helmets, goggles, gloves and layered outerwear. Behind the scenes: racks, boot dryers, tuning benches, wax, P-tex, files, stones, brushes, vises, binding tools and boot-fitting support.
Progression can lead into ski instruction, coaching, patrol awareness, rental operations, boot fitting, tuning, race service, lift operations and broader mountain-industry work.

Evidence-backed relationship state: Mount Washington Alpine Resort and POC have human relationship evidence; Salomon, Rossignol and Völkl / Marker / Dalbello have acknowledgement or routing evidence. Boardworks Gear Lab has a postponed technical meeting. Oakley has routing evidence only. Other named industry bodies and brands remain contacted or research/reference according to the canonical relationship ledger, and sibling-brand status is not inherited. No partnership, sponsorship or delivery commitment is implied.
Equipment brands, operators, associations, coaches, technicians and local experts can all contribute to an activity page.
